Today I went for the simulation appointment were the radiation oncologist mapped out the areas of my breast that will be receiving radiation treatment. The process wasn't a difficult one, however, unless you are someone who is used to say, lying on a nude beach with your breast exposed for public viewing, it is a bit intimidating. Of course, both oncologist, a man and a lady were very professional and friendly.

As they ran me through the MRI type machine I had to lie arms over my head with my neck turned to the left which left me with a kink in my neck, but other than that it wasn't painful.
Then they marked the corners of the fields to be used as guides for the radiation with small tattoo markings done with a very small needle and a drop of ink.
Grandma now officially has tattoo's. Never say never. LOL
